Set up YourFlix on your TV

Choose your device, install a compatible player, then add the login details from your activation message. Most setups take only a few minutes.

Before you begin

Keep the server or portal URL, username and password supplied after activation together.

A stable connection

Connect the TV or streaming device to Ethernet or reliable 5 GHz Wi-Fi where possible.

YourFlix is not tied to one player. Choose any compatible app available for your device, model and region.

These are two separate choices. First open the guide for your TV or streaming device, then use the login guide for whichever compatible player you install.

The app shown beside a device is only a visual example. It is not the only player that works with that device or with your YourFlix login.

Choose the player you installed

Use its login guide below. If your preferred app is not in your device store, select another compatible player.

Install the player on your device

Menu names can differ slightly by TV model and software version. Each screenshot demonstrates one player interface; it does not assign that player exclusively to the device.

LG webOS

LG Smart TV setup

Install any compatible player available in the LG Content Store. The IBO Player screenshot is one login example, not a device restriction.

  1. Press Home, then open Apps or LG Content Store.
  2. Select Search, enter the exact player name and install the result from the LG store.
  3. Open the player. For a MAC-based app, photograph the device ID or MAC address and device key shown on screen.
  4. Use the activation or playlist URL displayed inside that app, then add the details from your YourFlix activation message.
  5. Restart the player and allow the first playlist and TV-guide sync to finish.

Samsung Tizen

Samsung Smart TV setup

Install any compatible player listed in Samsung Apps. The Hot Player screenshot is one login example, not a device restriction.

  1. Connect the TV to the internet and sign in to your Samsung account.
  2. Press Home, open Apps, then select the Search icon.
  3. Search for your chosen player, select Install, then Open.
  4. For IBO or Hot Player, note the displayed device details. For Smarters Pro, choose the Xtream Codes login option.
  5. Add the supplied server URL, username and password, save, and wait for the guide to load.

Google TV / Android TV

Google TV setup

Install any compatible player available in Google Play. The TiviMate screenshot is one login example, not a device restriction.

  1. From the Google TV home screen, select Apps or Search.
  2. Search for IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate and install the official Play Store listing.
  3. Open the app. In Smarters choose Login with Xtream Codes API; in TiviMate choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes.
  4. Enter any playlist name plus the supplied server URL, username and password. Check every character before saving.
  5. Let the playlist and EPG finish loading, then test one channel before changing player settings.

Amazon Fire TV

Fire TV Stick setup

Install any compatible player available for Fire TV. The Smarters Pro screenshot is one login example, not a device restriction. Search the Amazon Appstore first and sideload only from an official developer source.

  1. Use Find or Search on Fire TV and check the Amazon Appstore for your chosen player.
  2. If it is not listed and the developer offers an APK, install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore.
  3. Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps and allow Downloader only. If Developer Options is hidden, open About and select your Fire TV device seven times.
  4. In Downloader, enter only the player developer’s official website address. Install the app, then turn the Downloader permission off again.
  5. Open the player, choose Xtream Codes where available, enter the supplied details and allow the first sync to complete.

Player login

Finish setup inside your app

These player guides are independent from the device guides above. Open the one for the app you installed; labels can vary slightly between app versions.

IPTV Smarters ProGoogle TV, Fire TV and supported Samsung models
  1. Open the app and choose Add User.
  2. Select Login with Xtream Codes API.
  3. Enter any playlist name, then the server URL, username and password exactly as supplied.
  4. Select Add User and wait for Live TV, films, series and the guide to sync.

Use the official app-store listing for your device. The player itself does not include a subscription.

Smarters Pro website
IBO PlayerLG webOS and Samsung TV
  1. Open IBO Player and keep the screen showing the MAC address and device key.
  2. On your phone, scan the in-app QR code or type the portal address displayed by the app.
  3. Enter the MAC address and device key, then add the supplied Xtream Codes or M3U details.
  4. Save, return to the TV and restart IBO Player to load the playlist.

IBO Player may require a separate player licence after its trial. That app fee is not part of a YourFlix plan.

IBO Player website
Hot PlayerSmart TV, Google TV or Fire TV where listed
  1. Install Hot Player from your device store and open it.
  2. Note the MAC address or device key and the activation URL shown inside the installed app.
  3. Open that exact URL on your phone, enter the device details, then add the supplied playlist login.
  4. Save, restart the TV app and wait for the categories and guide to refresh.

Use the activation address displayed by the app you installed; similarly named apps can use different portals.

TiviMateGoogle TV, Android TV and Fire TV
  1. Open TiviMate and select Add playlist.
  2. Choose Xtream Codes.
  3. Enter the server URL, username and password, then select Next.
  4. Name the playlist, finish setup and allow the programme guide to update.

TiviMate is designed for TV screens and remote navigation. Premium app features are a separate optional purchase.

Troubleshooting

If the playlist does not load

Login error

Retype the server URL, username and password. Check capital letters, spaces and the http:// or https:// prefix.

Empty categories

Wait for the first sync, close the app fully and reopen it. Then refresh the playlist or EPG inside the player.

Buffering

Restart the TV and router, stop large downloads and test Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi before changing app settings.

App not found

Availability depends on device model and region. Use another player listed for your platform or contact us before sideloading.
